Step 1

Cook pasta, following packet directions, adding broccoli for the last 3 minutes of cooking time and then drain BUT reserving 1/3 cup of cooking liquid.

Step 2

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat and add onion, garlic and lemon rind and cook for 2 minutes or until fragrant and then add cream and lemon juice and stir to combine.

Step 3

Bring to a simmer and add salmon, dill, reserved cooking liquid and pasta mixture and cook, tossing over a low heat for 2 minutes or until heated through and thickened slightly and season with salt and pepper and serve topped with extra dill.

What a delicious dish...I cut this in half for the hubby and I...I used fresh salmon instead of canned and I didn't have fresh dill so used dried...this was a bit on the dry side so next time I will grab a bit more of the pasta water...
