Step by Step Method

Step 1

Fill large saucepan two-thirds full with water and bring to boil; add broccoli. (I use my steamer basket).

Step 2

Cook until broccoli is crisp-tender about 3 minutes; drain.

Step 3

Meanwhile, stir together soy sauce, honey, sesame seeds, oil and pepper flakes in medium bowl.

Step 4

Add broccoli and toss to coat.

I scaled back for one serve (about 1 cup of large florets with a weight of 80 grams) and I think I may have been a little heavy handed with the chilli pepper flakes as it was definitely spicy but very enjoyable, thank you TeresaS made for For Your Consideration tag game at FF&F.

This is delicious and went so good with Curried Pork Chops I made. The flavors are delicious and would pair very well with Asian cuisine. We will enjoy this again!

5 stars all day. I love the sauce it made the steamed broccoli taste awesome. It was a quick and easy to make side dish. So happy that I tried it, we will be enjoying this again, often.
