Step 1

Heat oil.

Step 2

Saute garlic and onions.

Step 3

Remove.

Step 4

Mix flour, salt, pepper.

Step 5

Dredge meat and brown well.

Step 6

Return onions to pot.

Step 7

Add dill weed, wine, mushroom juice and consomme.

Step 8

Cover tightly and simmer about 2 hours or until meat is tender. (Make sure to add water as needed you want a tight stew but not burned)

Step 9

Add mushrooms and drained artichokes

Step 10

Mix gently.

Step 11

Taste for seasoning.

Step 12

Pour into 2½ quart casserole.

Step 13

Crown with biscuits (brush with butter and parmesan cheese).

Step 14

Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
