Step by Step Method
Step 1
In deep skillet, fry bacon until it's almost crispy, then add onion.
Step 2
Fry a little longer, then add sausage.
Step 3
Fry a bit longer and then add the paprika.
Step 4
When it's done, add the hot water.
Step 5
When water boils, add the rice, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Cover and simmer over low flame for 25 minutes, then stir in lima beans, peas and butter.
Step 7
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 8
Cover and take off heat and let set 5 minutes.
Step 9
Fluff and season to taste.
