"This is a moist tasty burger that really needs nothing on it except the apples. Use a nice spicy sausage meat and a firm apple. You may use the raw apple on the burger. I like to saute the apple for a couple of minutes with the burgers. If you like you could put a little honey mustard on the burgers. I use my mini chopper to mince the onion and garlic - takes seconds."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mince half of the apple and slice the other half, 1/2 inch .

Step 2

Mix together the sausage meat, minced apple, onion, garlic and ketjap manis. Form into 3 patties. Place in fridge to rest for about an hour

Step 3

Heat oil in a skillet, high heat. Put in the burgers and fry for 1 minute, turn heat to medium, flip the burgers cover and continue cooking for 4 minutes, flip the burgers cover and continue cooking until done approximately another 4 minutes.

Step 4

If you wish add the sliced apple to the pan for the last couple of minutes.

Step 5

Place burgers on a bun top with apple slices and serve
