Combine the wine, juice, orange oil and sugar in a pot.
Step 2
Bring to a gentle boil.
Step 3
Peel the pears and cut them in half.

Remove the core and slice a bit off the back so that the pears do not roll when placed in the pot (inside facing up).

Place the pear halves in the pot and poach for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Step 6
Remove the pear halves from the liquid and set aside.
Step 7
As per the gelatin instructions, dilute it with water and add it to the hot liquid in the pan.
Step 8
Transfer to a dish and refrigerate immediately.

Once the jelly has set, cut into small pieces.
Step 10
Preheat the oven on broil.
Step 11
Place the pear halves face-up on a baking tray.
Step 12
Add cheese to each of the pear halves and broil for 1 minute. (Always keep an eye on food that is being broiled.)
