Step by Step Method
In large bowl dissolve yeast in warm water.
Premix the sugar, the teaspoon of salt, and the flour and stir into the yeast mixture, along with the oil.
Beat vigorously about 20 strokes.
Let dough rest 5 minutes.
Mix the tomato sauce, the 1/8 tsp. salt, garlic, and black pepper in medium bowl.
Grease a 12-14" pizza pan and put ball of dough on it, spreading dough to sides of pan to form a ½"-thick crust.
Spread dough with sauce and sprinkle oregano over sauce.
Top sauce with the mushrooms, green pepper, and onion.
Cover with cheese.
Bake in preheated 425' oven 20-25 minutes or until crust is brown.
Cut into 8 slices.
