If I was rating on taste alone, these would definitely have five stars. However, I have to take everything into consideration. First, I tripled the recipe, which may have been part of the problem, although you wouldn't think so. I got about 120 truffles, each about 3/4 inch in diameter. Then, the chocolate was so thick I couldn't use any method of dipping I am aware of (I would have had a half-inch of chocolate on each one), so I ended up having to roll the balls in the melted chocolate with my fingers, then in the crumbs, making a horrible mess. Tripling the recipe, I bought six 12 ounce bags of chocolate chips. I have 3 1/2 left, plus about 1/2 cup of melted chocolate. However, approximately 30 of the balls do not have crumbs, because I ran out. These do taste wonderful, but there is no way I'm going to make them ever again. Too much work, and too much money wasted on chocolate chips I didn't need. Sorry!
