Step by Step Method
Saute sausage, onion, garlic, mushrooms, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper until sausage crumbles and is browned; drain fat.
Stir in tomatoes and simmer 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook orecchiette pasta in boiling salted water until it is al dente, time as your package directs; drain pasta.
Stir parsley, half-and-half and Parmesan cheese into sauce.
Toss sauce with pasta and serve.
