"Since my SO enjoyed Pugg's #recipe4405,so much I was inspired to create my own salmon patty recipe. I was extremely pleased that he enjoyed my version. Thanks Puggs. ;). Serve with your favorite tarter sauce, or do like I did and serve it on the side with DanD's #recipe9587.Posted to " ZAAZ " on 2/8/15. " Keep Smiling :)"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Except for 2 tablespoons salmon juice,drain juice and remove bones.

Step 2

Place salmon, garlic powder, eggs, lemon juice and mayonnaise into medium size bowl.

Step 3

Add onion, pepper, and Old Bay Seasoning then lightly mix in baking powder and breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.

Step 5

Form into 4 1/3 inch patties and fry until golden brown.

Step 6

Please make sure patties are cooked through before serving.

We can now get Fresh ground Wild Salmon so I used fresh instead of canned & I used fresh garlic. I love Old Bay Seasoning & it was perfect in these patties. I cut the recipe back to make 2 servings with no problem. I will be making this easy recipe again.
