Sometimes in life it is the simple things we do or eat that we love the most. Enjoying fresh strawberries made this way is one of them.

Thanks for the reminder Acadia. I do my strawberries this way to serve with crepes & a bit of real whipped cream. I was wondering what to make for dinner tonight, off to buy some whipping cream to go with the strawberries in the fridge.

Been using this method for years, love how the sugar and fridge time makes for great tasting berries. Super good with yogurt too! Thank you for reminding me of this quick and easy recipe that makes for one delicious dessert!

I just happened to have a lot of strawberries in my fridge and making these was just the thing I needed! I have made mine like this many times before too. Can't ever go wrong with this one!

This is a tasty strawberry recipe I have been enjoying for ages. I also make them this way when I am going to freeze the strawberries. They are in a nice sweet syrup when they thaw.

Lovverlly!!! all these years this is exactly the same as i do my strawberries, as soon as i get them home, cus then they are all ready for anything i want to do with them , from just eating them to adding them to recipes. Nice to know someone else thinks like me, hahaha!!!! love 'em!!! the only difference is that i use Splenda , it makes a very nice light glaze.
