Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2
In a bowl or cup whisk together the first 4 ingredients (-turmeric) and season with salt and pepper. Transfer 1/4 cup of mixture to small bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Place chicken on rack in roasting pan and brush with some of the remaining honey butter mixture; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast until temperature is 165 degrees F, brushing occasionally (about 70 minutes), brushing occasionally. Transfer to a platter and serve with reserved honey butter.
