Step by Step Method
Step 1
Dressing: Mix together the dressing ingredients.
Step 2
Beans: In a pot with a vegetable basket and water up to the basket, place green beans.
Step 3
Bring to a boil and reduce heat, simmering for about 10 minutes.
Step 4
Remove beans from pot and run cold water over them and refrigerate.
Step 5
Toast walnuts in a 300°F oven for 10 minutes and cool.
Step 6
Serve: When ready to serve, combine the green beans, walnuts, onion rings and cucumber in a serving bowl.
Step 7
Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat thoroughly.
Step 8
Add crumbled feta cheese and toss lightly.
