Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Step 2
Cook elbow macaroni in heavily salted boiling water as directed on package.
Step 3
Cut up 1/4 cup of butter into small pieces and place in bottom of Pam sprayed 13 x 9 baking pan.
Step 4
Drain macaroni
Step 5
Place 1/2 of macaroni over butter sprinkle with 1 cup each cubed velveeta and shredded cheddar cheese.
Step 6
Beat one egg and 2 1/2 cups milk until blended
Step 7
Pour 1/2 of egg mixture over ingredients in pan
Step 8
Season to taste
Step 9
Repeat layers of macaroni, seasoning to taste, cheese and egg mixture.
Step 10
Cover bake 25 minutes
Step 11
Uncover
Step 12
Stir until blended
Step 13
Sprinkle on top with paprika.
Step 14
Bake 15 minute more or until golden brown.
