Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat broiler to high.

Step 2

On a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet arrange peppers and then broil for 3-5 minutes on each side or until blackened and tender. Let cool.

Step 3

In a bowl combine the peppers with the next 6 ingredients (-mozzarella); toss.

Step 4

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 5

Let stand at room temp for 30 minutes and then stir in the basil and lemon juice.
