"All I'm going to say is make this, it takes regular jarred artichokes to another level! Allow at least 1 day before eating them! Cook time is refrigeration time"

Step 1

In a medium glass just with a tight fitting lid combine lemon juice, extra-virgin olive oil, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, chopped garlic and cayenne pepper; seal the container tightly and shake to emulsify the mixture.

Step 2

Remove the lid and add artichoke hearts. Reseal the lid and continue shaking the container until the artichoke hearts are completely coated.

Step 3

Refrigerate for at least 1 day gently shaking the jar frequently while chilling.

Bergy (RIP" Forever in our Kitchen)

I wrapped the marinated artichoke hearts in thin slices of ham fastened with toothpicks. They really went over well and between the three of us there were none left. Lovely tangy flavour. I even put the bits of garlic on toothpicks and they disappeared too. This is a keeper - Easy & so good.
