Step by Step Method

Melt the butter in large glass bowl in microwave

Add the sugars and mix with a sturdy wooden spoon.

Add the vanilla and syrup and blend together.

Depending on how cooled your butter is, the dough may seem pretty stiff.

Scoop balls of dough onto Pam-sprayed cookie sheet spacing about 2 inches apart so they don't touch when they bake.

Bake for 12 minutes

The cookies will be puffy and starting to look golden brown on the edges.
