" This is one appetizeer that you won't believe is kind to the waistline. It is really tasty. Temper the Jalapeno if you don't like spicy but you are taking away a lot of the flavor. Depending on the size of your mushrooms you may need a bit more than 1/4 cup of cottage cheese. These mushrooms make a nice side dish for Brunch."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place the mushrooms in a baking dish, cavity side up
Step 2
Mix together the cottage cheese, jalapeno, garlic, mix well.
Step 3
Fill the caps with the cottage cheese, sprinkle with cayenne
Step 4
Have the oven rack in the middle of the oven, turn on broiler and broil the mushrooms until the cottage cheese is nice and bubbly and browned about 15 minutes
Step 5
Serve warm
