Step by Step Method
Step 1
Use a food processor or a sharp knife to slice cucumbers and onion. Put cucumber in a large bowl, sprinkle with salt. Toss well, and set aside for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Drain cucumber thoroughly and discard all liquid. Add the onion, garlic, sugar, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, sesame seeds, and sesame or olive oil.
Step 3
Toss well, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
