Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 325°F.

Step 2

Season chicken with salt, pepper and paprika.

Step 3

Brown chicken in oil, in a Dutch oven.

Step 4

Add sherry, green onions , dill and tomato.

Step 5

Cover.

Step 6

Bake for 60 minutes.

Step 7

Remove from oven; add sour cream and simmer on low for 10 minutes (don't boil).

I browned this in a couple batches in the pot. Then i put it all back in and finished it. It was easy. It is good. My personal preference is that it needs more salt and pepper. That's easy enough to add on top of your plate, though. I used thighs and legs for the dark meat and two breasts. I made this for Food, Friends and Fun.
