"This is a great salad for the bean lovers out there. Use your favourite Italian salad dressing for this recipe. I use Kittencal's #recipe3889"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Rinse and drain the can of beans and drain the can of corn.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and refrigerate for a couple of hours to allow the flavours to meld.

Step 3

Serve.

My can of corn had peppers in it but that is the only change I made. We made our own Italian salad dressing and it was a good side dish. I liked using the mixed beans.

We love Bean Salads which has me watching for new variations to add not only to our meals, but ones that make for great 'make and takes' This one another Bea winner that we enjoyed and has been added to our Family Favourites Cookbook. Will be great for Potlucks. I did go with Kittencals http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/kittencals-zesty-parmesan-italian-salad-dressing as suggested with excellent results. I am sure it would work equally well other Italian dressings one would have on hand. Love that Bean Salads can be made the night before - great knowing that in the fridge there is a salad all ready to go!

This is so easy & quick to make. Lovely flavour. I used Kraft Less Calories Italian and it worked. Great because you can make it ahead. Thanks Bea for a lovely side to my Saturday night burger
