"I always wanted to make homemade dog treats, but I never had. Then I found this recipe in a fundraiser cookbook I bought at a thrift store. The cookbook was from Stray Rescue (local dog rescue) and was credited to Dee Ray/Noah Shepard."

Luke gives these 5 paws (and a lick). Easy to make and he loves anything with apple or applesauce.

I make most of the treats for my dogs and they give it 5 paws up! I had exactly 1 cup of applesauce in the fridge so it was so easy to mix up and bake! This will be going into their rotation for sure. Thanks for sharing this keeper Karen!
