Step by Step Method

Step 1

Peel, pit and mash the avocados and then combine them with the next 4 ingredients (-cilantro). Season with salt and pepper. Squeeze lime juice over top to prevent the guacamole from turning brown and bury an avocado pit in the guacamole - remove before serving.

Step 2

Garnish with cilantro sprigs if desired and serve with tortilla chips.

Who doesn’t love a good guacamole! Well, my hubs was one of those people and he has since been converted this past summer, so I was so happy to have him enjoy yet again guacamole with us. I cut this recipe in half, but otherwise followed all as directed. So very good with crunchy tortilla chips which we savored to the last scoop. Thank you, ellie, for sharing.

Very good guacamole! I halved the recipe and it still make a good amount for 3 people. It was flavorful. I liked the grated onion! Thank you for a fun new spin on guacamole!
