Great healthy smoothie! I like the idea to use green tea as the liquid in the smoothie...I think I'll try rooibos too. I used Arizona diet green tea with ginseng, Chobani cherry and pineapple yogurts, and frozen strawberries and blueberries. I used Trader Joe's blueberry ground flax and almond meal. Because I used frozen fruit, I had to add more tea for my blender to puree it all. I also had to add some Splenda and honey to sweeten it to our tastes. I thought this tasted pretty darn good for a healthy smoothie, my Hubby didn't care for the flax flavor, my toddler absolutely loved it and wanted more. Freddy Cat says thanks for the drink! Made for the Recipebook tag game.

I enjoyed this smoothie a lot. Hubby found me a bag of frozen peaches, strawberries, and bananas, I didnt add the almonds, and had milled flax seed on hand so used that. Cant wait to try other frozen fruits and different flavored yogurt combinations. Nice way to get the morning started! Made and reviewed for the Housewarming Tag Game.
