Step 1

Divide the 2 liqueurs equally between 2 tall glasses & mix well.

Step 2

Fill each glass equally w/the hot coffee & top w/whipped cream.

COOKS TIP #1: The recipe suggested a garnish using a thin "after-dinner style" chocolate mint cut diagonally & inserted into the whipped cream topping. While the pic is visually stunning, simple chocolate shavings would work just as well for me

COOKS TIP #2: "Use coffee strong enough so as not to taste watery or be too diluted by the liqueurs, but weaker than espresso

This was quite good. I thought the creme de menthe and kahlua was a winning combination. I made them this morning, which we had with a slice of fresh baked spice snack cake, and it made for a great treat. I had to reduce the two alcohols by half (I guess it was just too early in the morning for that much booze). But For an after-dinner drink, I'd definitely go with the full amount of creme de menthe and kahlua. Thanks, twissis.

MMMM, MP you have done it again, my friend. What a lovely treat this minty mocha coffee is. I enjoyed it very much and can easily see me enjoy it even more often. It has a perfect ratio of booze to coffee, creating something truly special. Thank you for sharing this wonderful treat. Made for Beverage Anyone?

Yes, twissis, it IS wonderful! Oh my this is good. I didn't have any of the mints for garnish, so I just drizzled some creme de menthe over the whipped cream. I think I'll make this green coffee for St Pats day for sure. Thanks for sharing and congrats again on your football win!!
