"Braised chicken thighs originally from the Neelys (Food Network) and Gina claims your man will love this one. I have adjusted it to suit my taste. The chicken is so moist and tender, and I like to serve it over hot butter rice cooked with some golden raisins."

Step 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

Step 7

Add the crushed tomatoes, the dried herbs, lemon pepper, and sugar. Then add the chicken thighs back in . Cover and cook on medium low for 40 minutes for bone-in thighs, 25-30 minutes for boneless.

Step 8

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Very Good!! The sauce was perfect and the chicken was super tasty. I served it with rotini pasta and garlic bread. My DH really liked it as well.

Made this for Sunday dinner, sure did "get my man", He loved it and i will be making it again. Very tasty , i was out of canned tomatoes but did have some cherry tomatoes i needed to use up, so i put them in the food processor and pureed them, turned out wonderful. The only other thing missing was the parsley, but it was not missed although it would have looked lovely as a garnish. Thanks for a lovely dinner.
