Step by Step Method

Marinade

Step 1

In a plastic food storage bag, combine until equally distributed; barbecue sauce - hot sauce. Add pork chops and massage until they are all covered with the marinade on all sides. Place in refrigerator and let marinade between 4-6 hours or overnight.

Let's Cook the Chops

Step 2

Prepare outdoor grill with medium-hot coals or stove top grill pan. Brush pan or rack with oil. Remove pork chops from marinade. Grill 4 - 6-inches above coals or directly on grill pan, 8 - 9 minutes per side, until just barely pink in thickest part of chop, near bone. Be careful to keep a close eye so they don't go over and dry out.

Step 3

Remove pork chops from heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Season with salt if necessary. Enjoy!

These were a huge hit at my house. They were simple to make and everyone loved them. My DD said a couple of times how much she liked them. I used a hickory smoke bbq sauce and marinated them overnight. Then grilled them on my stove top grill pan. Not only did they taste great....but they looked great too. Thanks for sharing this great winner, Nat. This will be a repeat at my house.

This was a super big hit in my home. The marinade flavors the pork so exquisitely and made for a fabulous dinner. I had to grill the chops indoors using my stovetop grilling pan, because it's still the middle of winter, and we're months away from the weather making it possible to grill outdoors here in the PNW. But grilling them indoors actually turned out just fine, though I can imagine they chops would be even better on an outdoor grill, sizzling away over an open flame that chars the underside to total perfection. Yummm! Thank you for your sharing a wonderful recipe, ForeverMama. (Made for the Best of 2021 tag game, recommended by LifeIsGood)

These are fantastic tasting pork chops!!! I used thick cut loin chops and let them marinate overnight and brushed the marinade over the chops as they were cooking; the flavor was amazing.

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best. This was so easy to prepare and grill. The flavor is fantastic!! Seriously good pork chops. I ended up using Kraft smoked bbq sauce and it was the perfect flavor for these chops. I think the Worcestershire and balsamic added to the wonderful flavor. I'm going to put this into my Best of 2021 file. Thank you!
