Garlic Chicken

Step 1

Season chicken on both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Brown chicken and garlic in hot oil in a large saute pan.

Step 3

Add wine, broth, lemon juice, and spices.

Step 4

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 6-8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Step 5

Remove chicken and garlic from pan and keep warm.

Step 6

Mix together remaining wine with the flour and mix into the pan juices, stirring briskly.

Step 7

Bring to a boil and cook until thickened.

Step 8

Serve sauce with chicken and garlic.

I liked how making chicken this way really kept it nice and moist! The sauce was simple but delicious and went well with rice. I didnt have 40 cloves of garlic, so I used a few tablespoons of jared minced garlic that I always keep on hand, and it worked really well! I also went with the chicken broth instead of wine, turned out great! Thank you for sharing this recipe, I have made this dish several times now;-)
