We enjoyed the corn cooked this way. We skipped the red pepper flakes but used herb seasoning on half of the corn and garlic salt on the other half along with the cheese and butter. Very good! Thanks for sharing!

I used Jersey sweet white corn and I baked mine in the oven as it was nasty outside. I used extra sharp white cheddar cheese I had on hand. And I omitted the red pepper flakes however I did use seasoned crazy salt. The timing was spot on and the corn was delicious, even though the cheese had slithered off the ears. It was thoroughly enjoyed. Made for the Cookathon for Derf 2013.

I left off the red pepper flakes but having it without for us was great! I will make my corn like this again! We did it on the grill and it was a no mess delicious corn that we ate right in the aluminum foil!

I used a separate grill to make the corn on so we could have it throughout the day as I had people coming at different times. It worked out quite well and this corn is delicious and it made it so convenient to cook it like this!
