"My motto is..."if you can make it at home..don't buy it in a store". So I make my dog treats at home. Then I know exactly what is going into their bodies. The serving number is relative to the size you make them."

My doggies loved these...I had to add a bit more flour due to my egg being extra large...I used peanut butter, milk and veggie oil...this made cute little doggie bones, squirrels and fire hydrants ...made for Alphabet tag game...

First, let me say that my dog LOVES these cookies. But, I did put too much liquid in them because my dough wasn't thick enough to knead or roll. It was sticky like an oatmeal cookie dough and a bit stretchy. I used overripe banana that had been frozen so I microwaved it a bit..and it was more liquidy than the suggestions. Plus I might have had about an extra tablespoon of oil since I wasn't using the right size measuring cup. Since it was a sticky dough, I dropped spoonfuls on the parchment paper and pressed the dough into a cookie cutter for a few heart shaped cookies. Then baked for 12 minutes like I would if they were regular cookies. The result was a chewy cookie that my dog adores. He carries them around like he does with his adored rawhides and guards them until he slowly eats them up. I may have goofed, but I'll be making these again.

Luke gives these 5-stars! He loves peanut butter. I also used chicken broth. These smelled good enough to eat them myself :) Easy to do and save a ton of money to boot.

Just came in to print a new copy for my puppy treats, noted it is another of the recipes that has seen to repeats but not reviewed! Usually daughter makes up the extra puppy treats but when I do this is the one i go to. Super easy to make and the puppies love them be it with peanut butter or with cheese! I thank you - Zoey and Allie thank you and give you five woofs along with the five stars!
