Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix the first 3 ingredients together (butter, brown sugar, flour); reserving 1/2 cup. Pat into an 8” square pan. Bake in a 350-degrees F oven for 12 – 15 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, blend sugar and cream cheese. Beat in remaining ingredients. When crust is done, spread cream cheese mixture onto hot crust.
Step 3
Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes longer. Cool and refrigerate.
