Step by Step Method

Step 1

Unroll Crescent rolls.

Step 2

Lay out into two 12 inch rectangles and make sure to seal the seams.

Step 3

Lay pastrami slices on top, making sure to fit with in the rectangles.

Step 4

Layer swiss cheese and sauerkraut on top of pastrami.

Step 5

Starting with the long edge of the crescent, roll up each tightly, sealing long edges.

Step 6

Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and tuck in edges.

Step 7

Cook in a 375 degree oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 8

Let cool for a couple of minutes, then cut into thirds.

Step 9

Serve with prepared Thousand Island dressing (no double-dipping so make sure to serve small bowls on the side of the dressing so guests can pour the dressing in the small bowls and use for dipping).
