Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Refrigerated crescent rolls (Pillsbury brand)
  • 1/4 pound pastrami, beef, (thinly sliced or corn beef slices)
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, finely shredded
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut (well drained I suggest to squeeze out the moisture with hands)
  • Salad dressing (Thousand Island for dipping you will need lots!)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Unroll Crescent rolls.

  • Step 2: Lay out into two 12 inch rectangles and make sure to seal the seams.

  • Step 3: Lay pastrami slices on top, making sure to fit with in the rectangles.

  • Step 4: Layer swiss cheese and sauerkraut on top of pastrami.

  • Step 5: Starting with the long edge of the crescent, roll up each tightly, sealing long edges.

  • Step 6: Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and tuck in edges.

  • Step 7: Cook in a 375 degree oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Step 8: Let cool for a couple of minutes, then cut into thirds.

  • Step 9: Serve with prepared Thousand Island dressing (no double-dipping so make sure to serve small bowls on the side of the dressing so guests can pour the dressing in the small bowls and use for dipping).
