"Put everything in one long casserole dish with chicken on top and pop it in the over for an hour. The rice will be done and the chicken crispy and a lot of flavor. My mom made this when we were little and everyone loved it."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pam spray a 9x13 baking dish and put the raw rice in the bottom.

Step 2

Add the mushroom soup, 1/4 of a package of onion soup mix, and water; mix well (shake onion soup package well and eyeball it to 1/4 of a package--if there is a little more, that is fine).

Step 3

Wash chicken breasts and place on top of rice mixture; dot with butter, salt, and pepper.

Step 4

Bake 400 degrees for 1 hour.
