"I found the original recipe in the TOH Annual Recipes 2014. And it was sent to the by Tina Blackman from Naples,Italy. I did start out to make the original,but didn't have the tomato that was called for in the recipe.So,I used part of a can of Fire Roasted tomatoes. And WOW !! it made the sauce have a deeper flavor.:) This makes 1 cup of sauce.Posted to " ZAZZ " on 2/20/15. " Keep Smiling :)"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a small saucepan combine all ingredients except for flour and water.

Step 2

Bring to a boil,reduce the heat and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Step 3

If not as thick as you like,make a slurry from the flour and water then add to BBQ sauce stirring well.
