Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (12 ounce) Dr. Pepper
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned, from a 14.5 ounce can, Fire Roasted Tomatoes, drained well)
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 garlic clove minced (I used 1/2 teaspoon jarred)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (if needed)
  • 1/8 cup water (if needed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small saucepan combine all ingredients except for flour and water.

  • Step 2: Bring to a boil,reduce the heat and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes or until slightly thickened.

  • Step 3: If not as thick as you like,make a slurry from the flour and water then add to BBQ sauce stirring well.
