Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. In another small bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt, pepper and garlic powder; add to the cheese mixture and mix well. Transfer to a greased 9-in. pie plate.
Step 2
Preheat oven for 10 minutes to 375 degrees. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 20. Remove top with Picante sauce return and bake another 10 minutes longer or until a knife inserted near the center comes out.
