"I don't know what's so Italian about this but it's a good recipe for a crockpot I made it last winter season and I thought it was good, I prefer browning the chicken first with some ground pepper so that's what I, did I think the chicken has a better flavor and cooks quicker"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place chicken in bottom of crockpot. Combine salad dressing mix and water. Pour over chicken and cook on low for 3 hours.
Step 2
After 3 hours of cooking, combine soup and cream cheese and mushrooms. Pour over chicken and cook one more hour or until chicken is done.
Step 3
Serve over rice, pasta or mashed potatoes
