Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Step 2
In a shallow dish (or pie plate) combine the flour and salt.
Step 3
In another pie dish or shallow dish beat the eggs and water together.
Step 4
In a third pie dish add the panko.
Step 5
Coat each avocado wedge first in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture and finally in the panko and then place on a baking sheet which has been lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 6
Coat the top of the avocado wedges with the cooking spray.
Step 7
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
Step 8
To make the blue cheese dressing: in a small bowl or dish whisk together the mayonnaise, blue cheese , buttermilk and vinegar.
Step 9
Place the wedges on a platter with other vegetables such as carrots and celery sticks and serve with the dressing and hot pepper sauce.
