"I made some recipes that were posted at another site but now that I am here I want to have them here so I will have easy access to them. This is one of my favorite apple recipes and one I drool over every time I have it. I usually make it for breakfast. It is incredibly delicious, and takes about 10 minutes to make. It was originally posted by Marg (CaymanDesigns). Here is my review: OMG! Another winner to add to my recipe file... I scaled this down to one serving, and it came out very well. I used 1 apple, 1 pat butter, about 1/8 cup sugar, 1/2 tablespoon flour, 1/6 cup half and half for the milk, 1/3 teaspoon vanilla, and then when the sauce was made, I sprinkled a little more of the cinnamon sugar over the top, then sprinkled nutmeg over that. One of the best desserts I have had in a long time, and one that I will be making a lot. It literally took me 10 minutes from start to finish. I only had it in the microwave for about 4 minutes and it was done, but I did slice my apples on the thinner side. EXCELLENT recipe Marg, and the sauce was to die for! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing."

Made this for my mom for Mother's Day breakfast. She told me how delicious it was with every bite. She did manage to give me a little bite and it is so yummy! From now on I'll be making this for my family. They will love it too. What I love about this too is that it's fast and easy to make!

Some might say this is a dessert, but I say why not make this for a side to eat with my pancakes and sausage! I was thinking that I love pork and applesauce so why not this together? What a grand idea! This is so delicious and it reminded me of something my mom would have made for us as kids. Creamy sweet topping over warm apples, what a lovely combination! Paired just right with our breakfast and later for dessert too! Will double it next time. Thanks for this gem!

I had never seen a recipe quite like this one and I wasn't sure how the results would turn out. I was very satisfied with how this apple desert came out. It's has an old fashioned element and gives the impression that maybe a farm wife made this for her family. I LOVE old-timey deserts!! I doubled the pudding topping and next time I'm going to triple it. What a nice and tasty dessert! Thank you LindasBusyKitchen for sharing.
