Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and sugar and bring to the boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Stir in the oats, raisins and cinnamon and cook uncovered stirring often for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened.

Step 3

Divide between serving bowls and sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired

Nice super easy oatmeal dish. Although I love cinnamon, for some reason I wasn't a real fan of it in my oatmeal. Nothing to do with the recipe - just personal preference. My grandson however thought it was fabulous. Thanks for sharing, Pat. Made for FYC tag.

I love the raisins and cinnamon with the oats. I mixed the milk and sugar in the bowl, microwaved it for 1 minute then stirred in the remaining ingredients and cooked for another minute. This is a quick, easy and out the door breakfast for when you are on the run. Thx for sharing this recipe here.
