Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 2

In mixing bowl beat

Step 3

Margarine, granulated sugar and brown sugar together.

Step 4

Add the eggs and vanilla, beating well.

Step 5

Mix dry ingredients

Step 6

Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture

Step 7

Stir until blended.

Step 8

Stir in oats and butterscotch chips.

Step 9

Drop by tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Step 10

Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes, until the edges begin to brown.

Step 11

Transfer to a wire rack to cool

These are really good -- I made 3 dozen cookies. I chose this recipe to use up an opened pkg of butterscotch chips, so I made have used a bit more than called for. A great snack! Thanks for sharing!
