"These dreamy chicken patties are so soft and tasty you will be grabbing for seconds before you know it. You will love them, and so will the kids! The little ones call them big "Chicken Nuggets". They are great with Mashed Potatoes, French Fries, Scalloped Potatoes or just about anything else you want to have with them. You can double the ingredients to make a larger batch. I have even made them and had them in a Flatbread with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Yummy! Found on NatashasKitchen Blog"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine 1 cup of breadcrumbs with 1/2 cup of milk. Let them stand for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add chicken, 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1 egg and 1 onion to the bread. Mix and stir together. The chicken mixture will be very soft; much softer than a regular Kotleti mixture.

Step 3

Using wet hands, make oval patties, then dredge both sides in flour. This step can be a little tricky since the meat mix is so soft, but it’s okay if they aren’t perfect.

Step 4

Place patties in the preheated non-stick skillet with 2-3 tablespoons of oil.

Step 5

Cover, and cook until golden on both sides; 5 minutes on the first side and 3 minutes on the next.

Step 6

Wipe your skillet with a paper towel between batches, and add more oil as needed.
