- For the Cowpoke BBQ Sauce, use chili sauce or chili powder to adjust the spiciness to your liking.
- For the Chicken Fajitas, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for the best result.
- Substitute the ketchup in the Cowpoke BBQ Sauce with tomato paste - This substitution will give the BBQ sauce a more intense tomato flavor, while also making it thicker and more spreadable.
- Substitute the boneless skinless chicken breasts with boneless skinless chicken thighs - This substitution will add more flavor to the dish, as chicken thighs are more flavorful than chicken breasts. Additionally, the higher fat content of chicken thighs will help to keep the chicken from drying out during the slow cooking process.
