Except for marinating time (5 hours), I made exactly as written. So moist and just such a wonderful flavour, I cooked the chicken in the oven and it turned out just perfectly. I also took care that it did not burn on the outside but it was perfectly moist and tender inside and not burnt outside at all.

Made for FF&F Beverage Tag - We tried 2 chicken breast recipes side-by-side (1 for weeknight meals) & this one (also an easy-fix, but definitely company-worthy). My chicken breasts were lrg, so I wanted to take spec care to keep them moist. I marinated them for about 5 hrs. They look grilled in the pic, but I pan-cooked them until I thought close to being cooked, poured the reserved marinade over them & braised them to finish the cooking. They were well-flavored & "cut-with-a-fork" moist. An excellent recipe that will encore on a guest occasion, Mike. Thx for sharing it w/us.

Very tasty chicken dish. I used 5 chicken tenderloins and broiled them in the oven due to the extreme coldness outside. I babied them since I was concerned that they would burn as suggested by the author, but they were fine. I marinated them for two hours and I used JD whiskey and grade A maple syrup. Made for Billboard tag.
