Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 (1/2 pound) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons whiskey (Kentucky whiskey, I use Jack Daniel's)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Rub thyme over both sides of chicken breasts.

  • Step 2: Combine syrup, whiskey and oil. Pour over chicken breasts.

  • Step 3: Marinate breasts in the refrigerator for several hours.

  • Step 4: Grill or broil breasts, about 6 minutes per side, basting frequently with marinade for a shiny brown glaze. (glaze will burn easily if not watched carefully).
