"I make these every holiday season. This is such an easy recipe for such a rich decadent treat. You can also roll the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed toasted almonds and you can put a whole nut in the middle of the truffle. Place the truffles in nice Christmas tin and you have a nice gift to give to someone for the Holidays. Make lots of these because they go very quickly!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt 1/2 cup regular size chocolate chips in a double boiler.

Step 2

Meanwhile, using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add confectioners sugar, graham crumbs, vanilla and salt, and blend well. Mix in the melted chocolate and the remaining 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Cool mixture in the freezer until firm, about 15 min.

Step 3

Hand-roll into balls the size of large marbles.

Step 4

Roll balls in coconut, sprinkles or graham crumbs until well coated. Return to freezer and chill thoroughly, about 15 min., or until ready to serve or wrap up.
