"Cheesy filled pasta with tomato sauce. No need to cook the dried pasta tubes. The moisture in the baking process will cook them. Use commercial marinara sauce or make your own. Serve with garlic bread and a green salad."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Mix all filling ingredients in a small bowl. Place into a piping bag fitted with a wide tip, or large zippered freezer bag and set aside.

Step 3

Add 1/3 cup water to the marinara sauce and place 1/2 cup sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Step 4

Snip off the corner of the zipper bag if using and fill each cannelloni, placing in the pan. Top with remaining marinara sauce.

Step 5

Cover tightly with foil and bake 40 minutes. Remove foil and spread 1 cup mozzarella cheese, recover with foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes.
