Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat the oven to 350°Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Cream the shortening and sugar in a medium bowl. Then add the water, tomato soup, and baking soda.
Step 3
Get out a large bowl and sift the dry ingredients together. Add the wet ingredients a little at a time, stirring it all together just until mixed.
Step 4
In a greased and floured 13 X 9 inch pan, cook for one hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Frost with cream cheese icing.
