Step 1

Heat the oven to 450° Fahrenheit. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.

FOR THE DRESSING


Step 2

Get out a medium bowl and add in ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, pickles, pickle juice, and hot sauce. Stir it together and then set it aside.

FOR THE SANDWICHES


Step 3

Chop the broccoli up into little florets. Put them on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the garlic on top, then drizzle the olive oil over everything. Add the salt and pepper on top according to your taste. Toss it all together.

Step 4

Next, put the baking sheet in the oven, cooking the broccoli for 15 to 18 minutes.

Step 5

Toast the bread with your desired method.

Step 6

Smear dressing on one side only of each piece of bread.

Step 7

Place sauerkraut on two pieces of the bread (the bottom piece). Place the cooked broccoli on top of the sauerkraut and add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of it.

Step 8

Place the top piece of bread on each sandwich.
